I use an approach that blends talk therapy (compassionate listening, empathy, and personal sharing) with directive homework activities and emotional transformation processes. Attuning to each person’s concerns, blocks, or compulsive behaviors, I inquire further for clarity and deeper understanding. I acknowledge personal awareness and insights regarding inner pain and the need to heal.
I partner with you through well learned depth psychology that is aware of the seen and unseen associations with the inner pain. The seen and unseen associations may be revealed through sharing portions of one’s life story, through dream interpretation, art, attunement with inner essence, or emotional processing (anger, depression, grief, betrayal, anxiety, etc.), or some combination of these. It is with this partnering that we develop the path of healing and growth.
Sessions are typically 50 minutes with flexibility as needed. The number of sessions is determined by the path developed out of our partnering. |
